3️⃣ Tips to make the perfect wine pairing 🍤🥂⁠

I know you are going to tell me that everything pairs with red wine but I want to give you some recommendations to achieving the perfect combination between dishes and drinks:⁠

1️⃣ Harmony and contrasts. Pairings can be achieved by complementing flavors, aromas, and textures, strong flavors, and meat with more intense and tannic wines, for example. But it is also possible to think of contrasts like sweet wine and blue cheese. The key is what experience we seek to achieve.⁠

2️⃣ The colors. It also helps, although it is not an infallible rule, to look at the colors of the dishes and drinks. In general, clear dishes and clear wines go very well. Salad with seafood and fresh white, salmon with creamy sauce and potatoes is a good combination for rosé or young red wine, and lamb with a strong red.⁠

3️⃣ The regions. There is a category of pairing that is called "regional pairing" and is based on the idea that dishes and drinks produced in the same region will go great. A classic Argentinean one, empanadas from Salta and Torrontés wine.⁠
